Most cruises bolt a hobby onto a holiday. We do the opposite. Passage Club charters the entire vessel for a single passion — so a voyage stops being a tour and becomes a community that happens to be sailing.
No explaining your stash. No knitting alone in the corner of a bar. Just a hundred and fifty makers, one grand old river, and a week that feels less like a booking and more like a place you'll want to come back to. It is the first of a curated series — Edition No. 1 — and it will only happen once.

Margit has spent two decades coaxing beginners through their first cast-on and helping seasoned knitters fall for a fiendish cable chart. Her work is quiet, precise and unmistakably Scandinavian — and she leads a room the way she writes a pattern: with warmth, patience, and no wasted stitches.
She'll host every afternoon aboard the Aurelia — workshops, a learn-to-knit table, one-to-one project help, and the kind of long evening conversations that only happen when everyone speaks yarn.

Do I need to be an experienced knitter?
Not at all. There’s a learn-to-knit table running all week, and Margit tailors the afternoon workshops from first-cast-on to advanced cables and lace. Come at any level.
Can I bring a partner who doesn’t knit?
Yes. Companion fares are welcome — they’ll have the ports, the sun deck and every meal, and are free to join or skip the making sessions.
How demanding are the morning excursions?
Gently paced and always optional. Expect walkable old towns and short guided strolls; you can also stay aboard and knit in port if you’d rather.
What exactly is included in the fare?
Seven nights aboard, all meals with wine at lunch and dinner, a guided excursion in every port, the full workshop programme, your project kit, gratuities and port charges. Flights are arranged separately.
When should I book, and how?
There are only 150 cabins and Edition No. 1 sails once. A deposit holds your cabin now, with the balance due closer to sailing. Book Now to reserve, or Enquire and we’ll walk you through it.
Is it definitely the Danube?
That’s the plan — Passau to Budapest. Should conditions call for it, the voyage may move to the Rhine; the week aboard and everything included stays exactly the same.
